Accessibility during Lucca Comics & Games will be guaranteed thanks to the collaboration with the Luccasenzabarriere association and the technical support of Ortopedia Michelotti.
The association will be present at all ticket offices to provide priority access for people with disabilities. At its stand in Piazza San Martino, the association will carry out awareness-raising activities and distribute the FMC (Free Mobility Card) to people who have already received their wristband.
A dedicated ticket counter for people with disabilities will also be available at the Croce Verde office, located in Via Castruccio Castracani 468/d, where it will be possible to request free tickets for perople with disabilities and the reduced ticket for a +1
Does Lucca Comics & Games also take into account other accessibility-related needs?
Yes. Thanks to the Senzabarriere.app, created by the Luccasenzabarriere ODV Association with the support of the Municipality of Lucca, visitors can access a comprehensive accessibility guide. Volunteers from the association have mapped shops, buildings, museums, churches, restaurants, and pubs throughout the province of Lucca, providing information about architectural barriers and other useful details.
